Thrifty Recipes


So it turns out that being thrifty involves eating healthy as well :) How so? definitely if we can feel better according to the good things that we put in our bodies, then we save time and money by lessening our chances of getting ill.

In the very least, we can contribute to our overall feeling better. But who knew that a healthy eating mindset could be so much fun?!! Let's dissect this idea.

     So the question is: How do we bring this to fruition?

#1 ) We want to use and eat food items that contain the less amount of ingredients there possibly could be. 

I am reluctant to post my first video on this, but basically, foods that are whole and good for you should be pure in form.

When we put good stuff into our bodies...we will fare better in the long run. We will not only save in our health but we will also save our time and energy.

1 package of defrosted & squeezed Frozen Spinach

1 small onion

Garlic (a few cloves of fresh garlic, chopped)

Salt & Pepper to taste.

1 package of cream cheese

1 TBS Sour Cream

1 TBS Mayonnaise

1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

(Enough half and half to cover about an inch over spinach after all ingredients are added into the crock pot).

Add the Parmesan cheese last. Only at the very end of the dish. When the spinach looks completely melded over the course of the afternoon, you can add the Parmesan cheese last and give it a stir.
